Programme Duration
- The minimum duration of M. Tech. is 4 semesters (24 months) for full time and 6 semesters (36 months) for part-time programmes and M. Tech. (High Value Assistantship) programmes.
IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria
These are Institute minimum requirements and any Department/Centre/School operating through their DRC/CRC/SRC/PEC can specify higher short-listing criteria than what is specified here.
Candidates in the final year of their programmes and who expect to complete all their qualifying degree requirements before the third week of July 2024, are eligible to apply for admission. For short- listing purposes, their performance till the preceding semester (preceding year if their programmes are year based) would be considered, but their admission would be provisional, subject to their meeting the minimum eligibility criteria after their final qualifying examination results are announced.
Minimum Qualification for Admission to full-time MTech Programme

IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2024 Application Process
- Submission of Application is only through online procedure.
- Online submission of the application form may be made by accessing the Institute website.
- The offer of admission to M.Tech. Programme will have to be accepted on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Detailed instructions in this regard will be provided on the IIT Delhi website.
